Welcome to the Wind-Riders Badminton Team, the most popular and fastest-growing club under The New Youth Volunteering Association! Guided by our core values of affordability, community-friendliness, competitiveness, and recreation, Wind-Riders provides a welcoming environment where every student—whether recreational or competitive—can find their place.

 

Our team trains on professional badminton courts and offers a level-friendly system that supports beginners, intermediates, and advanced players alike. With year-round programming, members can enjoy continuous improvement and consistent training throughout all four seasons.

 

Wind-Riders is also proud to be officially ranked as one of the Top Four Amateur Badminton Teams in the GTA at the 2024 GTA High School Badminton Tournament—a milestone that reflects both our athletes’ dedication and the strong community spirit behind our team.

 

We host weekly practices every Wednesday from 4:00–6:00 PM, totalling 54 sessions per year. Annual membership is $280 (just $5.18 per practice), ensuring high-quality training remains accessible to all youth. Attendance is flexible, and sessions are held at Everyday Badminton, 480 Hood Rd #1, Markham.
